I'm looking for the 425CDT restore CD that would have been packaged with the laptop. Presumably it's the same CD as for the 420 and the other 42X variants.
I assume it would have reinstalled Windows 95, and I also assume I need a boot floppy disk (which I have already).

There's a bunch of other restore CDs for the 4XX series on archive.org but I couldn't find one for the 425.

Right now I have Windows 98 running on it and it feels very sluggish on this laptop; I'd rather go back to Windows 95 (plus I also have a ThinkPad from late 1997 which runs Windows 98 much better, so my cravings and that regard are satisfied).

As an alternative I could install Windows 95 from scratch and scrounge up the drivers (I found the graphics driver*) but I like to use original restore CDs.
