Today i bought this board sold as parts, seller did not even know if it worked

Chaintech 7AJA2E on the bios chip there is a sticker 7AJA2E-F100A FR073B-2 v.2.0 04/23/2001 F1A2
https://web.archive.org/web/20020614195701/ht … keta/7aja2e.htm
oldest bios link from 2002 https://web.archive.org/web/20020215075253/ht … sp?model=7AJA2E

notice that it says:
bios file 7AJA2C05.EXE

7AJA2/100 "7AJA2E"
Version :5 CheckSum | : F24A Date Code 2001/12/5

now that bios update says:
1.Added AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2000+ support. 2.Fixed Windows XP/Administrative Tools/Event Viewer/System/ACPI error marked. 3.Update CPU name String for AMD Recommend.

So i took the heatsink out of the board, because i was expecting to see a chip with named VIA VT8363E , but there is no "E" its a VIA VT8363 , And that chip is a KT133, its not a KT133A, so how did they release a bios with athlon xp 2000+ support if the chip is a via vt8363? i thought KT133 was not supposed to support that.

Or am i wrong?

That would suggest the board is a 7AJA0, not a 7AJA2, although on retroweb, there is also one that shows 7AJA2/100 - which maybe suggests some were fitted with the 100 clock (200FSB) KT133 instead of the A or E
Maybe supports the XP, but not at full speed

I have one Chaintech KM133 board and i have used there Chaintech KT133 bios because it had newer bios and supports newer cpus,
i dont use integrated vga of KM133 and it has APG port. Mostly you want KT133A if faster FSB you want for the CPU, i have 100Mhz.
Of course both KM133 and KT133 board looked very similar (like twin brothers), i do not remember model numbers at the moment.
