Hello everyone and merry Christmas!

I own a physical copy of virtua figter 2 and I managed to install it and play with the D3d patch but there is one problem that I have never seen anyone mentioning. The VF2 window's title bar and menu bar are always visible and as a result, you can never see the players' health bars.

Can someone help me solve this? I have already tried several compatibility options combinations but no luck so far.

One method would be to install Microsoft ACT and apply the ForceSimpleWindow shim. Alternatively, just put DDrawCompat or dgVoodoo2 in the game folder.

Thank you very much for your reply. I already tried dgvoodoo and it crashes to desktop in all the configuration settings I tried. I will search how to try your 2 other suggestions.

DDrawCompat did the trick. I just downloaded it and placed it inside the VF2 folder and it worked correctly right away. No configuration at all needed. Thanx again!
