I have the DVD disk version that came with 2 disks and a pamphlet with a 19 digit code the problem is Uplay, I cant login to the Uplay program and it wont update to the latest program from UBIsoft is there a way to play this or do I have to buy the game from steam or somewhere else? I can login to UBIsoft but far cry 3 does not show up in my library in fact all three games I had with UBIsoft are gone I think its because the last time I logged in and played them was 12 years ago

All the FC titles are on sale as part of the STEAM Winter sale, so you can get 3 for a few dollars, along with whatever else you need. Old disc-based copies are basically worthless without cracks, as the registration services and functions are long-gone, so you're better off just not bothering with them.
