I recently picked up a Qvision MidiStar/GS wavetable card (connects to a sound card via a 2 x 13 waveblaster connector). While a number of sites list its ROM size as 2 MB, including an old post on Vogons, I noticed its actual ROM size is 1 MB.

Its main ROM chip is a Crystal CS4112-CS, whether from known photos online or on my own. This ROM chip is know from other wavetable cards to be 1 MB. Also, the Crystal datasheet for the CS4112 is stated to be 1 MB (https://www.dosdays.co.uk/media/crystal/CS4112_datasheet.pdf).
