I’m using PCem 1.17 with an emulated Voodoo 3 3000 on Windows 98 SE, and I’m running into an issue with the 3dfx Tools control panel. All sections appear correctly (Desktop, Direct3D, Glide/OpenGL, etc.), but I can only modify the Desktop settings. The other categories are visible but completely locked: I can’t enable, change, or save any option.

The card works in games, so the basic emulation seems fine, but the 3dfx Tools panel won’t let me configure anything beyond the Desktop tab. I’ve tried multiple driver versions (official and unofficial), clean reinstalls, and different PCem setups, but the behavior doesn’t change.

Has anyone experienced this issue with PCem 1.17 and the Voodoo 3? Is there a driver/Tools combination that properly unlocks the Direct3D and Glide/OpenGL settings?

As you can see in the picture it doesn't let me apply the changes to Direct3D or Glide/OpenGL.

Not an issue/bug, this is just how the control panel was designed.

There's radio buttons so you can control the alpha blend/video quality/gamma of these modes independently, and the Glide options become visible when you click Glide. I don't think you changed any settings here.
