I am trying to compile a list of Legend adventure game releases with version numbers. Something similar to Infocom Fact Sheet, just simpler -- Legend did not have even 1/10th of that number of different versions. Well, I have almost everything in my collection except there are two versions that may exist but I never saw them. I need somebody to confirm if these versions were released:
1) Spellcasting 101 version 1.1.0 -- floppy release. The floppies should be marked "version 1.1" but they may also be marked "version 1.0" -- the fastest way to check is to look at the file dates. Real version 1.0.0 is dated 8/28/90, version 1.2.0 is 11/05/90. Anything between these two dates is likely to be that elusive version 1.1.0.
2) Companions of Xanth version 1.0.0 -- also floppy release. I have a set of disks that says "version 1.0" but those floppies contain version 1.1.0. I really want to know if binaries of version 1.0.0 were ever released and what was the date on those. This may only be one of the early releases, with the oval sign "Free book enclosed" at the left. If your box front has odd-shaped sign on the right don't even bother checking, that's definitely version 1.1.0.
