I managed to find the 2nd of my childdhood computers. I am in the process of getting it cleaned up and working but I ran into an issue. The CPU in it is not supported by the factory BIOS. I am trying to find version 1004 of this bios. I am hoping someone has the file stashed away or has this PC with an upgraded BIOS and is willing to take a dump for me. I searched everywhere I could find and even tried AI to help search but I have not had any luck. Any help is appreciated. Luckily I can swap back in the 1.8 for now and use it at the slower speed. Rebuild and clean is almost complete. I will share some pictures when done.

Do you have a copy of any bios for that Mobo? I bricked mine trying to upgrade to an Asus non Sony. Now I need to restore it. Id appreciate any files you could share with me. Let me know and I can give you my email or google drive info!

Here are the installers for BIOS 1002 and 1004. I dug these out of Sony's site when working on a PCV-RX650 several years ago, before they took everything down. They're EXE based so you'll need to already have Windows running, unfortunately, but I do know the 1004 one works as I was able to upgrade mine using it.
