Hello everyone,

I'm trying to track down an old MS-DOS game I played as a child around 1996-1998. It was on a single floppy disk, ran directly from DOS (no installation needed), and I played it on a 486 with PC speaker sound.

UNIQUE GAMEPLAY MECHANICS (these are very specific):
• View: Behind the ship perspective (NOT top-down like Asteroids)
• Ship: Visible wings on both sides of the screen
• Enemies: Meteorites that grew larger as they approached
• Aiming system: You had to align the edge of the ship's wing with a square/marker to hit the meteorite
• Weapons: When firing, both wings shot lasers simultaneously in a V formation
• Game Over: If you missed a meteorite, there was an animation showing it falling to Earth and destroying it
• Level transition: The ship would "stretch" and jump to hyperspace with a flash/streak effect
• Controls: Mouse or keyboard (not joystick required)
• Audio: Music or sound effects through PC speaker

DISTRIBUTION:
• Single floppy disk
• Received from a friend/family member (likely shareware/freeware)
• Direct boot from DOS, no installation

WHAT IT'S NOT:
• NOT Astro Chase 3D (similar perspective but different mechanics)
• NOT any commercial release I can find

The most distinctive features are:
1. The wing-alignment aiming system
2. The V-shaped dual laser pattern
3. The Earth destruction animation
4. The ship stretching during hyperspace jump

Given these very specific mechanics, I suspect this was an amateur/shareware game that never made it into commercial databases.

Has anyone played or heard of this game?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
