Hi guys,
I am trying to identify a game I played a little bit back in the 2000s (2004-2007-ish).. back when the whole casual games thing exploded and there were tons and tons of them.
The game I'm looking for looks awefully similar to Charm Tale (https://youtu.be/BNmqhDjnEJM). It might be a clone even. The same mechanics: crystal pieces move along a curve and you need to use them to fill patterns that cover a character to "free it". It is even the same fantasy/fairy tales setting. But I recall my game had more interesting art (IIRC there was a dwarf, a fairy, ...), and the characters would start with sad faces while they are "caged" under the pattern, then their faces turn happy when they get freed.
I don't quite recall if it was Big Fish Games which published it... back then you find the same game published by many publishers at the same time (PopCap, Big Fish, God knows who else...).
Tried hard with ChatGPT but it proved to be a stupid idiot and got fixated on a few Puzzle Inlay games despite how many times I tell it "it is NOT this game".
Rubs a memory?
Thanks!
