While going through the Windows XP DirectShow codec list, I found a lot of them associated through wmpasf.dll. This file seems to be missing, at least through Windows 7 to 11.

Any idea on what this codec did, or which application/game needed this? Ideas on restoring it or a native/3rd party implementation?

I've only ever seen ASF used to stream videos over the internet starting in 1999. Never seen it in a game
