Looking though a stack of old discs, I found an official HP "Operating System Recovery CD" for "Windows XP Professional Service Pak 2"
Presumably this came with an HP system I had at one point - Long gone and I don't recall the exact model etc. It doesn't list what models it's for, only:
"PLEASE NOTE: The software on the CD is already installed." and "Store in a safe place and refer to you user documentation if you need to reinstall or repair your system software".
It's been my experience that these "recovery" CDs often contain the drivers needed for a number of different models, so it *might* have what you need.
But... The question is legality. It does say "(C) Copyright 2007 Hewlet-Packard Development Company L.P." and "Portions (C) 2007 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved".
Presumably an HP system of the era might have an OEM license, but I have no ability to confirm exactly if/what license it would have.
The CD does say "For the latest software and drivers, visit www.hp.com/support" - and that site does apper to still exist - perhaps you can find what you need there.
