So I have 3 different Permedia 2 cards and I'm trying to list which have this bug which affect the dos compatibility.
It's very easy to check if the bios of the card is affected by this bug, nssi or any other utility which reports the video memory available will do it:
❌ affected
❌ Diamond Fire GL 1000 1K PRO AGP 8mb (original bios v1.49 updated to bios v1.54)
❌ Accelgraphics 3DLabs Permedia 2 TI TVP 4020 AGP 8mb bios version v1.34

✅ not affected
✅ Creative Graphics Blaster Exxtreme CT6610 PCI 4mb bios 1.44.2 (bios downloadable here: https://support.creative.com/downloads/downlo … nDownloadId=216)

Probably the Permedia 2v due to the more recent bios won't suffer of this issue, if anyone is available to test their card I will gladly update the list.

ELSA Gloria Synergy doesn't have this bug, but it's kinda pointless, because Permedia 2 suffers from other issues in highres modes. It's good only for VGA.

I must be some kind of standard: the anonymous gangbanger of the 21st century.
