So I experienced something weird with one of my game CD's. I was making a video on my PII system and had put in the SimCity 3000 CD in the drive. Game loaded up okay, but did hang a tiny bit, then when I went to load a map it was taking forever. Then when the map finally loaded I couldn't really do anything, I had to take out the CD to end the program. Tried it first in the CD-RW drive, then I put it into the SCSI CD-ROM and oh boy it didn't like that. It wouldn't load and made some weird sounds.
Luckily I have another copy of SimCity 3000. I put it into both of the drives and it loaded with absolutely no problem what so ever. I then decided to see if that other disk would work on any of my other systems, so I hooked up my K6-2 system and installed it using the disk that wasn't working. It installed with no problems. Once installed the game opened and loaded no issues what so ever.

Has anyone else ever experienced something like this? This is my original game disk and have never had any issues with it before. I even took and cleaned the disk and that didn't help.

FUCK "AI". It is a tool of fascism. We do not need it. We do not use it.

I honestly don't know because the other disc works fine. The older disc with a copyright of 1998 works fine, but my original disc with a copyright dates of 1999/2000 doesn't work in the one computer, but works fine in the other one.
