I'm aware of a thread that was created regarding this: Is there any software that can read and display SMART attributes under Windows 9x ?. But it's been inactive for a while and the users whose posts it would be appropriate to respond to seem to be inactive for a long time. So creating this thread.

I've tried speedfan, SIV and HD Sentinel. HD Sentinel keeps prompting to restart the computer for some driver installation related thing every single time I run it - it never actually starts. SIV seems like a great program but it doesn't display S.M.A.R.T info for any of my disks. Likewise speedfan doesn't display any of those stats either.

In DOS, the HD Sentinel program (HDSDOS) works perfectly. No such luck in Win98. Does anyone know of a reliable program in Win98 that can display such info? I'm using SSDs connected via SATA, so I've installed RLoew's PTCHSATA and HCDP (high capacity disk patch) compatibility fixes.
