I received a handful of Acutus PCI Recovery Cards recently but the included firmware is somewhat restricted in options and the included software is not working in Windows 98SE (doesn't detect the card).

It should be compatible with other PCI Recovery Cards like the Reborn or some other cards like HDD Sheriff, Radix Protector, Centurion Guard / Centurion Shield, Pharaoh Card etc. Does anybody made a copy of their firmware or is able to do that? I tried to Google them but I couldn't find any firmwares unfortunately. If somebody has a link to any firmware of those mentioned cards that would also be great so I can test if they are indeed compatible.

I included the firmware and a photo of the card. The firmware is more for archive reasons. I suggest not to use it as it's branded (by a Dutch company which doesn't exist anymore) and as said before it's somewhat restricted.

Following. I think I bought the same cards from the same seller and hit the same issues 😉

I have three types of PCI recovery cards, and they look quite similar, the oldest is from 2003, and others are from 2006, labelled "Recovery card".
All of them have the EEPROM soldered in place, except for one labelled "PC Guardian Lite" from 2011.
I only have the CD containing the manual and software for the 2006 "Recovery card".
I also remember Custodius cards being very common in internet cafés. (https://usuaris.tinet.cat/tecnoc/2-cus-caracter.htm)
My plan is to use then as PCI OPROM cards to use for example an NVME OPROM without modifying the BIOS ROM.
