I borrowed a couple movies from the library and the dvds were scratched up, one even snapped on one side. If you really want to check out a DVD or a blu-ray I highly suggest checking out multiple items of the same movie, hopefully one will be in good condition and make a note of damaged upon check out

DVD rentals still exist? 😲

Can't you examine the discs before checking them out?

It's a shame that libraries are underutilized

P1: Packard Bell - 233 MMX, Voodoo1, 64 MB, ALS100+
P2-V2: Dell Dimension - 400 Mhz, Voodoo2, 256 MB
P!!! Custom: 1 Ghz, GeForce2 Pro/64MB, 384 MB

luckily i told them and they removed it from the catalog so they wont penalize me, they told me to throw it out. Yea always check your items before leaving places, like buying stuff at walmart. a big box purchase open it up and check to see if everything is in order before you leave the store or hell parking lot.
