Hi, I was unable to find a list of this so far, so I thought maybe we could compile one together.

The Yamaha YMF7x4 are some of the best PCI cards for DOS games (along with the ESS Solo-1), combining original OPL3, Sound Blaster Pro compatibility and XG MIDI, but I know that Duke 3D and presumably other Build engine games do not work with it (enabling Music & SFX at the same time crashes the game or freezes the entire system.
The same is true for Tyrian.

Now some games should work better with the SB_LINK connection attached, but not all of them. I cannot test that, since I do not have any boards with such a header.

Can you provide further examples?

The background of my question is that I am building a tiny system with only 1 ISA slot, and ideally I'd want to combine a 744B with a GUS PnP for a wide coverage of compatibility at excellent quality. So far, I know that at least the Build engine games support he GUS, and so does Tyrian, so so far the combination seems pretty much perfect for my needs.
But regardless, I want to compile a complete list of games that cause issues with the card, and ideally whether or not SB_LINK solves these issues.
