Hello,
I am trying my best to rescue a Radeon 9500 with 9700 pcb 128mb.
It was in bad shape.
It should be a Sapphire with Hynix memory, P/N 1029422830 067378

It worked for a while than suddenly stopped. Booting with a pci card, it is detected but windows fails to initialise it (from what I see in control panel).

I am attempting in flash again its bios and atiflash and flashrom are unable to do it.
They both detect it but with the same error, like they are not able to detect the bios chip.
See screenshot for both.
Bios chip is seen as “Parallel” and this is super strange.
I am not able to phisically spot the bios, maybe it is the chip in the second picture on the back, still I doubt that Atiflash detection is reliable…

Tried any “force” parameter anyway, same result.
Is there any other way to force program the bios?

Tried flashing the bios with my Xgecu T48 and a clamp.
Assuming the bios chip is the one circled in white on the above picture I was able to read it (a series of 00) and even to flash it but the process failed with the following message:

ERROR! FLASH Address:0x000000 Buf_Val:0x55 IC_Val:0x00

Any advice?
