I recently bought this vintage floppy disk drive because I always wanted one, the FD-505 or the EPSON SD-800.

This is a 1995 model.

But the 3.5" floppy drive won't read the floppy disks. The 5.25" has no problems.

I suspected the heads needed cleaning, but unfortunately the upper head had broken one of the two legs that hold the head to the upper metal housing.

Does anyone knows which other TEAC 3,5" floppy disk drives had this head unit?
