Finally got the time to deal with my pair of Quantum 3D 3dfx cards. Realized that they are X-16, since I have some spares sacrificial Voodoo 2 cards around, the idea of adding more memory chips on like how would one upgrade a 8MB Voodoo 2 to 16MB intrigued me.

While I am certain that someone has asked this question before, I failed to traceback where was it asked. So here I am, pondering the same question. Is it possible? How feasible is it?
