Hello, I've bought a Compaq Prolinea 4/66 with fixed, soldered CMOS battery. The computer was not remembering date, bios and such so I replaced the battery with a socket for coin battery.
It's not working how it should be. It says "Time and Date not correct" after bios reset, then I can set time and date but it will not remember it correctly or at all. I can set year but then it will say its 1980 after turning off and on the PC once again. Every time its also detecting HDD again and saying do I want to save date.
The voltage of battery is ok.
Please help
