This is in reply to the IM's that I've been getting about config settings to get mugen to work. This is what I did to get VDMS to run Mugen without the sigsegv error, but I'm not at all sure that it'll work for everyone. Ok, first of all, you have to have the update for vdms! You can probably find a link to it in many of the other postings. Next, you need to use lanchpads default settings! I've found that ANY customizing of the settings will cause the sigsegv. Finally, if your using joytokey (which you probably will be since lanchpads defaults allow for only two two button joysticks), you'll have to trick mugen. If you make changes to how mugen reads from the keyboard using joytokey, you WILL get the sigsegv. I got around this by creating two different profiles, one that made no changes whatsoever and a second one that had the joysticks set up how I wanted them. I set the profile that made no changes active and then started mugen using lanchpad. While mugen was loading, I quickly switch to the other profile and mugen starts just fine. I hope this was helpful.
