Hi,

Im hobby programmer and also like programing on DOS/Win32 platform. The DOSBox contain an Adlib emulator. It come into my mind: make an adlib emulator library that works with .DLLs and other program languages (Delphi, Visual Basic) could use this. It is a good idea, isn't it? 😀 I think most progammers would be happy by this. The DLL contain some command to control the adlib card, more exactly, emulate the Adlib sounds on the sound card!

Im wainting for the other programmers's opinion about it 😁

I am moving your thread to Milliways, because it's not clear to me what it has to do with DOSBox.

I posted it originally to DOSbox forum, because I though that it would be very good for the other programmers, who may re-make some DOS games on Win32 platform. Anything is implementable but the Adlib sounds. But some of us cant use the DOSBOX's adlib interface (for example me 😦 ), because they may don't use Visual C. Or maybe it cannot be sundered from the main program. I just thought to an idea to public a separate adlib-emulator library. It might increase the standard of DOSbox 😁 I haven't found any programer-library...
