I have problem I can not play the game called Spellcross because of this error

http://thing.wz.cz/spellcross.avi I am made video and it shows the problem with this game When i clicked on slot named intro it has to start video but it does not after that I would like to start new game=Nová hra in my language and as you can see in the short video than I choose the difficulty easy game = lehká hra or you can choose another but it does not influence the function in the last ten seconds of the video you can see my work with mouse and the cursor shows sandglass and it meens that i can not play it means that the game is freezing and Dosbox windows status displays the error: Illegal read from 6071e98b, CS:IP 160: 1C0745 first line
