I brought back my blog:

http://avatar58.blogspot.com/

While I realize everyone and their grandmother has a blog these days, I feel the overwhelming urge to write shit these days. So I'm trying to drum up an audience. Drop by and comment if you want, it motivates me write more.

I'll even try to comment on some classic games during the week. 😊

/old fart damn kids with their blogs. 😉

Blogs seem like a waste to me as far as discussion of any specialized topic. Sure you get that person's opinion and a couple of hopefully related comments but then that blog post is long forgotten and never updated (unless it's brought up again in another post)......and never will be updated since it's a blog post.

Just seems to make more sense to have this kind of information on a standard website and update the subject of discussion often but I guess that removes the personalization and quickness of posting and ease that blogs are.

Personally I read near-zero blogs save a few of the more techy ones on MSDN. Even then I see blogs as a mostly one way communication channel and have never felt the need to respond.

A webby/forum setup just seems to attract better communciation 😀

Actually originally I was going to create my own forum and then have it linked via a "Discuss on the forums" button. I guess I could still do that, if I feel it would help with discussions.
