Did you install it correctly? Is there some batch file you can run
instead of the executable?

The installation works, it creates the following executable files:

Digplay.exe --> This program plays one or more .wav or .voc files simultaneously using any Soundstream-compatible digital audio driver

Dos4GW.exe --> creates fatal error : Syntax is Dos4GW <executable.xxx>

Fixboot.exe--> nothing happens

Memsetup.exe--> This program has forced ZN to act as though your system has the minimum amount of memory. Please refer to ZNEMHELP for further information

Nemreg.exe--> starts the electronic registration

Setsound.exe--> opens sound setup but the sound already works properly

XMIPlAY.exe--> This program plays one or more XMIDI sequenses simultaneously using any AIL 3.0-compatible .MDI audio driver

ZNSetup.exe--> kills dosbox

Zorkdos.exe--> Zorkdos is not a watcom program

Zorkuvbe.bat--> ZN needs VESA BIOS v 1.2, UNIVBE simulates this bios but the installation of this program does not change anything

Or he just gave up. His copy is probably corrupted (file is truncated), and if he is running random executables, it seems likely that he doesn't own the original.
