Tried dosbox before and was disappointed
After inserting soundblaster pci 128 (es1371)
Have had success with my favorites:
Lost Eden (cryo)

still before above mentioned soundcard
without dosbox (ie just run under windows) - no sound
with dosbox - no sound

now after soundcard transplant, sound in both instances but more stalbe with dosbox (under win some clip scenes ignored - probably too fast)

But particularly encouraging is PRIVATEER1 which needs acceptable DOS enviroment - have installed with sound yeeha, looking promising

BUT I do think, without sympathetic pci soundcard, little will be accomplished

As to what are sympathetic pci sound cards - early soundblaster? ESS? no doubt dosbox experts will know the good ones (and happily share?)
