Hey, now that I have VDMSound working (thanks Snover), I have another problem 😜.

It's with One Must Fall: 2097. I got launchpad working, and the game doesn't crash, but whenever I enter the screen where you select the arena, and the fight screen itself, the game becomes extremely slow. I tried it with both sound disabled and with Sound Blaster on, no difference. With the sound on, the music becomes also very choppy and slow.

I've tried playing with DMA Polling, from 1/3 to 3/10, but that seems to have no effect. The "Cap DOS timer frequency" and "Try to reduce CPU usage:" Doesn't seem to work either.

I'm running an Athlon xp 1700+, Win XP Pro SP1, GF 4 TI4200, C-Media Integrated sound. 768 megs of ram..

And nevermind. I found the problem. Turned off joystick polling, and it runs very nicely.
