hi all,

I use FreeBSD on my computer and i need Turbo Pascal for progamming on it. So i installed the DOSBox and then TP. It's all running well, but my layout.

I'm from Germany, so i need the qwertz layout, to handle with the DOSBox, it's really annoying to have another layout as i have on other computers i use.

So i installed the german keyboard-layout like it was descriped in the README File of the official german language support data.
But if I use "KEYB GR" (this command is already added to the autoexec) "he" announces "C:\GR.KL: Specified file could not be opened.". The strange thing is, that this file does exists in my mounted C:\ drive, and even in all other DOS-important directorys. I even can take a look @ this file via the "dir" - command.

So what should i do? I don't know where the mistake is, maybe i just forgot a simple, single thing (this would not be the first time 😢 ).

I hope you can help me,
best regards

da prophet!

Germany?
"KEYB GR" - "C:\GR.KL: Specified file could not be opened." ?
GR.KL? That sounds like Greek / Cyrillic to me.
Sure you don't want "KEYB GE" ?

Edit: Ups - forget about that. I just tried KEYB GR with FreeDOS KEY 2.0 (pre4) and it did seem to work (at least it swapped my Z and Y keys).

Here are the MD5 checksums for the files (2.0 pre4) I use:

a460db91ed449c42202d767ab5736412 *KEYB.EXE
