I've tried DOSBOX with DFEND in two different computers, and Athlon 64 3000 and a P4 3000 and in both I'm experiencing the same problem. In full screen I get tearing in scrolls. If I enable double buffer I get perfect scrolls but the sound and music are jerky and stutter. I've tried several combinations of options and setups but I never get smooth graphics and correct sound at the same time. Any idea?

Hello, welcome to the forums.

Which game(s) are you experiencing problems with? Tried increasing cycles and using dynamic core?

Keep a watch on your CPU utilization while using CTRL-F12 to increase your CPU-cycles (and CTRL-F11 to lower them). Don't let the CPU utilitization get over 80% - 90%.

Also trying adding some frameskipping to DOSBox (more about this in the Wiki linked in my signature).

Supaplex works fine for me under DOSBox 0.65 on my AMD Sempron 3000+
