when I capture a movie of a game in dosbox the *.avi file I get shows me that the movie was recorded with about 70 fps - is it possible to change this to a more useful frame rate like 25 fps?

frameskip=1 =>35 fps

else use a movie editing/converting program.
It's not really the realm of DOSBox to care about that.
