The winxp patch for Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers from http://www.gabrielknight2k.tk/ works perfectly except for one minor problem: The cursors are in black and white. I fiddled around with text services and visual themes under the compatibility tab but I can't make it go away. Reducing hardware acceleration didn't help either. Does anyone have any ideas on what to try next? Thanks.

The installer uses the Windows version, which has black & white cursors. If you want colored cursors, you will need to run the DOS version.

Yes, as collector mentioned, this has nothing to do with the installer but is the normal behaviour of the windows version.
Was the same in the old days on Windows 3.11.
