I was told that my topic was in the wrong forum.
I want to know if the cpu load reduction program has viruses in them. I also want to know if files from badango and win31.de have viruses in them. I don't have 3.1 yet but i want to use those files when i get one and i am going to run win 3.1 with dosbox. I don't know how my topic has nothing to do with dosbox. It has a lot to do with dosbox.

Erm... get some virus protection? There's a few free ones available:
AntiVir and AVG are both free as well as effective.

Suit yourself. I'm don't think not having virus protection when running Windows is a very smart thing to do, though.

What a stupid question! If you can't be arsed to scan them yourselves then why would anyone care if you're machine gets infected! Here's an answer to your question - "yeah, I think there's at least 8 virii in that download" or here's another answer - "no they're clean". Now ask yourself which one is the truth - you don't know 'cause you don't know me and therefore shouldn't trust my word on it!

The product's Kippesoep linked to are free and well respected. Install one and be happy 😀
