Azrael's Tear runs real slow on any DOSbox, so I tried double-clicking it. It works with digital sound, but too fast, and it crashes to desktop with an error. Using speedset yields the same result. Using VDMSound gives me midi, but the same result. "NTVDM sent an illegal instruction to the CPU." I disabled write combining and hyperthreading (in the BIOS). Nothing happened.

How can I avoid this error (in VDMS or WinXP)?

My system:
WinXP SP2
2GB RAM
3.2GHz CPU
GeForce 7800

As a side question, why is Azrael an exception to the increased speed of .70?

Edit: Actually, it didn't work. The beginning is just faster.
