I can assemble a squad, but when I click the door to enter the game world the game throws me back at the DOS command prompt 😖 This problem happens every time. I have downloaded Twilight 2000 from 'Home of the Underdogs'.

Edit: I have tried several settings in the 'setup' program. like 'no sound' and different types of graphics settings. unfortunately without results.

it's an application that resides inside dosbox which alters the conventional memory layout. It helps certain games that crash during gameplay

I tried loadfix with both 32 k and the default setting but still the game crashes 🙁

Allright, I've seem to have found the problem, atleast that's what I think, when I try to install this bloody game it doesnt really install anything it just says that it did, and now my question is how do I make the DosBox install this game properly?

Also, I think what me and Zeno tried to run was some command file, which I dont think works as the real game

I have now tried setting core to normal, auto and dynamic, setting fxed cycles, loadfix from - 300 to -1 setting ems and xms to false, disabeling mouse, sound and combinations of everything, the game still crashes when I click on the door.

I have a dual core processor, allthough I have now tried to run dosbox with only one of them allocated, it always works when a game cant be run with dual core, now it did not however.

Allright, another useless update on my non-progress, I try to start the game using the 2000.com, just now I've tried using loadfix -number 2000.com, the thing is, I have no idea of how much memory to use up, eitherway no progress. Cant someone just slap me in the right direction

Isint there one freakin soul on this board that knows how to get this game going or did get it going? If I have said something retarded I'm sorry, I just want to get this game running
