the trainer i have i assume needs to be run after the game has started oO because running it prior to running the game has the effect of the trainer never finishing for me to run bash1.exe =\

is there a way to do this with the latest version from http://ykhwong.x-y.net/page.htm

???

edit: this trainer gives unlimited lives and ammo.

Does it behave the same under the 0.70 release?

Usually you run trainers before the game, that is either they act
as a tsr or they load the main executable themselves. But suppose
you know that.

same issue in 0.70

i run the trainer and then it just sits there... never going back to the command prompt... and i have zero idea of how one would run it in the same DOS session while the game is running (i doubt this is possible)...

Well it crashes, seems to try to decrypt its code. Maybe try some of the
prefetch-queue enabled builds, though i didn't look if this is the cause.

Yep, seems to work then, loads as tsr. Didn't test the game though.

Those that i posted some time ago, search for "prefetch" and hopefully
some working builds show up.

woot the patcher loads, and when you press escape you get a message saying it is installed.

so then from the same session i run bash1.exe and find that the trainer hasnt had any effect on the game =\.

edit: infinite ammo works but not infinite health.

doh, never mind, this works great ;P i see how dumb i am 🤣.

edit: http://www.filelibrary.com:8080/cgi-bin/freed … /83/mb21trn.zip good trainer for god mode ;P only for the demo tho.

edit: this new trainer gives infinite health and infinite ammo

there is massive slowdown if i use full screen mode after applying the trainer for infinite lives ;P windowed mode works fine tho... why?

yhkwong's DOSbox works with this different trainer that allows infinite health (not lives) AND it does not exhibit this slow graphics in full screen mode

ONLY if running with the trainer in the background? Try different output=
settings in dosbox.conf and maybe the sdl.dll from the 0.70 release.

ok, sorry i was all over the place ;:P

in 0.65 with the prefetch core and monster bash demo with the infinite health and various ammo types, the emulator will spaz out randomly and drastically drop in frame rate.

using 0.70 and dynamic core solves this.

i also have given up on the first trainer i tried because well, i prefer god mode over unlimited lives 😉 (so all that i speak of here is related to http://www.filelibrary.com:8080/cgi-bin/freed … /83/mb21trn.zip and this trainer hard patches the EXE file)

ok, if your gonna use prefetch with this game then you will need to set cycles down to a low value like 5000 or less.

if you arnt going to use a trainer that requires prefetch then just use dosbox 0.70 and the dynamic core at 20,000 cycles or so.
