A LCD-Monitor for DOS?

As my Sony 17" Trinitron is getting older (and my eyes are too), I asked myself if there is still no LCD display available to play my favourite dos games right from the hard-disk (not within dos-box) in a satisfactory way.
I did some research, and (apart of the common opinion that you absolutly need a CRT), I only found one model that seems to be appropriate:

19" (1280x1024) NEC LCD1990sxi with 9ms (grey to grey) / 18ms (rise and fall) response time.

The special feature it has (or should have) is the possibility to manually adjust the way the interpolation / expansion is done. So, if you have a resolution lower than the native one, you can choose in the osd between a 1:1, zoomed (with the original aspect ratio), or user defined expansion.

My questions are:

- Has anyone any experience with this model?
- Does anyone know another lcd monitor with similar capabilities?
- The lowest resolution listed in the specifications is 640x480. Is it nevertheless possible to use even lower resolutions (like 320x200)?

Thanks in advance!

Having the option to somehow customise the way interpolation is done seems like a plus to me.

I use a 15in TFT NEC LCD1560NX (1024x768) on a dos pc, connected to to a Voodoo5 MAC (with DVI output), the result differ if I use it connected with DVI or VGA

DVI:
Works well with VESA and standard VGA mode
Mode X diplayed off center, partialy out of screen
Low res (VESA 320x200 320x240), displayed in a small windows at the center in 800x600

VGA:
I have to center display when I switch between VGA text mode and VGA graphic mode (just a few pixel switch lateraly)
Mode X works better for some resolutions but not totally full screen
Low res VESA work in full screen

I think DVI depend on graphic card an can be different with another one.
