A new computer .......... a new series of unfortunate events 😵

Tomb Raider 1 is running fine with Glidos and additional texture packs.

Tomb Raider: Unfinished Business is another story however. 😠

This is what I do:

I use a special program called "Tomb Raider Advanced Installer" which is included on the TR1-cd.

I select TR:UB for installation.
I select that I want to use Glidos.
I select IRQ7 for my soundcard (apparantly the most common setting)
and I finish.

I open up Glidos.
I select TR:UB.
I press on start game and TR:UB indeed starts but ALWAYS hangs after the short film with the CORE-logo has appeared.

In short: I cannot get past the CORE-logo when I want to play TR:UB! 😢

Why happens and what can I do about it, please? 😒

I don't get it. Is this a genuine TR1 disc?

Anyway, follow the Glidos installation instructions instead.
You can also try the installer wizard available at the same page.

Yeah, interesting. Which versions of the TR1 CD come with Tomb Raider Advanced Installer?

Anyway, as Kaminari says, to use Glidos follow the Glidos installation instructions (you know it makes sense 😁 ); the archive of a preconfigured instrallation is the easiest way.
