I'm having a bit of trouble running Warcraft: Orcs v Humans. I managed to run the mount command correctly, but I cannot seem to get the game to correctly install on my computer. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?
thank you

What I have done so far is the basic cdrom mount command. Once I got the Z: prompt, I used the D: command to get the D: propmt. At this point, I typed "install" to install the game on my computer. I tried to install the full version of the game, but I receive an error when it asks me to select the destination of the game. It says that the path that I have specified is not valid, and that I should enter a path on the hard disk for the install directory.

Have I missed an important step somewhere?

It seems you have made some mistake mounting the hard drive. Please, write down all exact mounting commands you used.

For example, once in dosbox you need to type mount c c:\example\games if your dosbox drive is going to contain that location. You need to have created the directory on your hard drive beforehand and then you can use it on dosbox. You can mount any folder on your hard drive partition but make sure you don't mount your root (c:\) hard drive directory, and also avoid using long filenames. Then you can mount the cdrom drive. You can also insert those commands into your [autoexec] section of your dosbox.conf file so that you don't have to type them each time you run dosbox.

I found out what I was doing wrong. I wasn't mounting the destination folder in the c drive before trying to install the game.

I have gotten the game to run now, though it doesn't have any sound. Any suggestions for fixing this? I will continue to work with the game as well.
