I just wanted to give a heads up to everybody that version 2.0 of my DOSBox front-end is about half finished. I have the UI a hair from completion and have added a ton of new features to 2.0 that 1.0 did not have, including support for choosing ISO images to mount instead of or in conjunction with your physical CD/DVD drive. This will allow users to play games such as Mechwarrior II witha few clicks.

The new version will contain a large list of DOS games that are pre-configured and should be ready to go. These have been tested on an old P4/1.9GHz system with no HT or dual core support, a P4/3.20GHz system with HT only, and a P4/3.0GHz system (P4/630 I believe, 64bit P4). On all of these systems Hexen required 25000 cycles on a dynamic core to function well, and the Doom series was 20000 on the dynamic core. Adjustment may be required on older systems or newer systems. My friend's AMD Turion64 x2 system requires about 5000 more cycles then my P4 systems for some reason.

Below are linkes to screenshots of the new launcher. Not all options are displayed on the setup tab, and games will have their own settings for customization of each game beyond a generic configuration. If you have any questions or want the older v1.0, I have it on my site and can post a link.
