Alright, I am relatively new to using DOSBox and am having trouble with the product Wacky Wheels. I recently downloaded it from 3dRealms website and it is in a self-extracting zip file. I tried to run it through DOSBox and followed all of the "Tutorial" instructions. And the lovely message I received from DOSBox said, "This program cannot be run in DOS mode."

Have I just wasted 10 dollars on a DOS game? Or can somebody please walk me through this? My gratitude would be longstanding

You have to unzip the self extracting archive first, either by executing it (if you're on windows), or by using an archiver like unzip, unrar, 7zip, etc. .

Smells like a Windows self-extractor. Extract that on Windows then run/setup the game in DOSBox.
