Speeding up Theme Hospital through DOSBOX on MACOSX

Hello, im attempting to play Theme Hospital on MAC using dosbox.

Ive got everything working fairly easily, but the games seems incredibly slow and jerky, its only really playable on low res mode.

Im wondering if anyone has any ideas for making this run a bit more smootly, given the age of the game and the fact ive got a fairly new mac, id expect the hardware is capable of handling it!

Try to play along with cycles=auto or cycles=max.

ive tried both with little or no obvious difference!

If you have a PPC Mac (G3 or G4), as I assume from your other post, you're probably out of luck with Theme Hospital.

Try increasing the frameskip, and refer to the DOSBox guides in the other section of the forum for further help.
