Is there any easy way to change the inital virtual drive that dosbox uses? (I.E. Z:\ to like I:\) ? I did not want to have to download source, change, and then compile, if there was an easy way.

I have checked all the usual avenues, readme, command line switches, google..... I would hope that I am just missing something easy.

Thanks,

Nope. There might be an old version floating around that does not use Z as the internal drive.

Depending to what you really want to accomplish with that, editing the AUTOEXEC section of the DOSBOX.CONF should suffice.

i made a public patch for that. but it does involve compiling dosbox.
either you do it (there are guides for it in the wiki) or you get somebody to do it for you.

I found it in the patches. Thanks, I will try to setup a machine to compile this on.
