Ok, I have recorded a few videos from dosbox, but i've noticed that a 40 second long video is 10mb big. Is there a way to reduce the size of the outputted videos in dosbox? Maybe reducing color resolution?

thanks

Compress the sound. If it's still to big, recompress it to xvid or something (but you will loose quality). Use VirtualDub.

I am absolutely no expert on this, but if it is not possible to compress the sound, maybe try recording the video with a lower rate-value (section mixer in dosbox.conf)?

hehe, i just noticed something funny. The videos created with dosbox are only playable with media player classic. For some reason other players like VLC or ms wmplayer wont show the video, just sound. Anyone know why is that?
