If I enter MS-DOS prompt in Windows 3.1x installed in DOSBOX 0.72, then type 'exit' to go back to Windows 3.1x GUI, the screen will be of chaos but all menus and icons still work if I click on their original locations. Is this a un-supported problem of DOSBOX or my own software/hardware problem? Thank you.

It's a known Dosbox bug that seems not to be too urgent to be fixed (understandable)

Well that part is fixed in CVS. But the command line is now broken and will probably stay like that for a while.
