I have tried all the modem and serial port directions I could find. Although I am no programmer and could very well have done something wrong. An old friend and I played this way back in the day, and are hoping to again. Once again the game itself runs fine in DOSBox, but I can't figure out how to connect in any way.

According to the game there are 3 ways to connect modem, direct serial, or lan. I have tried to change the Dosbox config file for both modem and direct serial, but have been unsuccessful in getting connected.
