I am having a problem getting DiscWorld 2 to work in Dosbox. I have mounted it with Daemontools and installed the game through Dosbox. I get the game and sound installed on Dosbox but I am unable to run the game. This is where I get lost:
. Enter the right cdrom path where your discworld 2 are mounted in Daemonstools.

Right Path Info on DW2.TXT

Config -set cpu cycles=22215
mount d " Rename to the right path where discworld 2 are mounted on your drive ---> f:\ -t cdrom -usecd 0 -ioctl
vbeplus.exe
univbe.exe
dwb.exe

. After you have done this , save it as DW2.BAT

I enter the correct location of the cd in the txt file and I enter dosbox to run it then it says that "The DiscWorld 2 CD Cannot be located.

The mount drive is f: on daemontools and the game is installed on c. Can anybody please help me with this problem? :confused:

Try "-usecd 1". CD 0 most likely refers to your physical CD-ROM.

Using Daemon Tools with DOSBox is unnecessary. You can have DOSBox mount the image(s) directly.

imgmount D "\path\to\cd\image.iso" -t iso

I thank both of you for your replies but I am still having difficulties. My problem is that I have never used Dosbox before and I am ultimately stuck. I really want to play Discworld 2 because I remember the first being great on the Playstation back then. I have DW2 in ISO format if anyone can walk me through the steps I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your time.

60 Seconds Guide to DOSBox.

If that doesn't help, come back with details on how you mounted your C and D drives, how you did the install, how you configured sound, music etc.

Note: For using the image instead of the physical CD, see my previous post. And, you might want to try running the game without that VBEPLUS and UNIVBE.
