Hello everyone, I have been trying to get this great title to work on the latest dosbox with no luck.

I have seen others threads dealing with it, but I haven't seen the error I'm getting in any other post (sorry If I missed it). I have the Enhanced version (on CD, budget Italian release), Vista, dosbox 0.72 and a decent PC. I have been recently playing Under a Killing Moon with the same setup with no problems.

I tried installing it and running from CD (I'm sure I mounted the drive correctly) and then copying everything on HD and modifying the paths on the cfgs files. Sometimes the game starts, but freezes on the first splash screen, and the DB terminal shows this error : "DYNX86: Can't run code ...".

Other times after the first flash screen I receive the classic Dos4GW error with the memory dump and back to the prompt.

I have read that it should run with no problems, what I'm doing wrong ? Thanks for your help.

And if you don't do all the extra work of manually copying files around, and do a normal, standard install, does it still crash?

Yes, at first I did a standard install from CD, ran it, and had the same error. I don't think the drive/paths are the issue... I tried to run it with no sound, but no luck as well.

Tried it, but same result... same error also with sshock.bat.

I'm attaching the screenshot with the crash I'm getting...

Well, it seems that a simple reboot and a clean install did the trick.
