I have an Intel Macbook running Mac OS X Leopard, and sometimes I like to play old DOS BBS door games on DOSBox. If these doors are to use directional keys, they will, more often than not, utilize the numeric keypad. I find that when I turn the numlock feature on (by pressing the F6 function key), DOSBox 0.72 fails to recognize it. I can tell the numlock feature works in general, since the numbers display as intended in Textedit, the builtin Mac OS X text editor.
The numlock key should work and be recognized, so this is why I feel that it needs to be brought to the attention of the developers.
Also, as an alternative and possible workaround, what would I use as keymappings to present the standard arrow keys as their numerical equivalents using mapper.txt?
Thanks.
